4.    Courses Conducted

a)SOM Audit Officer Course

This course aims to train selected officers from Department of Agriculture to become audit officers that are entrusted with the task to conduct audit of farms that applied for the SOM Certification.  Participants for this course are selected by the SOM Certification Committee

b)SOM Guidance Course

This course is intended for Officers from the Department of Agriculture consisting of district level officers with the objective of training them so as that they will be able to provide guidance to entrepreneurs that applied for the SOM Certification. Participants for this course are selected by the SOM Certification Committee in collaboration with the State Department of Agriculture

c)SOM Entrepreneurial Course

This course is designed for entrepreneurs that are interested to acquire the SOM Certification.  Participants will be exposed to the aspects of Good Agricultural Practice and the steps of acquiring SOM certification.  Participants for this course are selected by the SOM Certification Committee in collaboration with the State Department of Agriculture.
