seven days.
- Provide
advice
services on importation and exportation of plants and plant produce law
in
line with the Plant Quarantine Act 1976, Customs (Prohibition of
Exports)
Orders 1998 and the Convention on International Trade in Endangered
Species
of Flora and Fauna (CITES)
- Provide
advice
services on quarantine treatment technology and post entry quarantine
so
that imported plant produce are free from quarantine pests
- Phytosanitary
Certificate, Export License and CITES permit shall be issued within one
day
(1 day) after the inspection of the consignment
- Import
permit shall be issued within seven days (7 days) from the date of
application
- Inspection
of
consignments at the entry point shall be done within 24 to 48 hours for
the
purpose of allowing plant produce entry into the country
