STATE AGRICULTURE POLICY
State Agriculture Policy is to enhance the agricultural sector as a catalyst and backbone to the economic developement and growth as a whole.
Among the Policies which will be emphasised in the Kelantan Agriculture Policies are:-
New Land Developement / Land Developement.
In-Situ Agriculture Developement.
Agriculture Support Services.
Social And Institutinal Developement Which Support Agricultural Developement.
Goods Developement -Crops For Foods And Crops For Industry.
Forestry Developement.
Agro-Based Industry.
Developement Of The Necleus Farm As In The Malaysian Incorporated Policies And
The Privatization
Policies.
Whereas the objectives of the Kelantan Agriculture Policies are to make the agriculture sector as a catalyst and backbone to the economic developement and growth as a whole . To realize the above objectives ,the strategies taken are as follows:-
Enhancement of the production,high quality and the consistency in the
agriculture production.
Efficiency in the management system which covers the marketing
channel,processing and the good transportation services.

Enhancement of the farmers family through the increase of income.
Encourage the growth and developement of downstream industry and the agriculture
entrepreneur.
Encourage Research and Developement (R&D) in an effort to find good
alternatif to the agriculture sub-sector which is less potential and less not
atractive.
To boost and to memesatkan the growth and the developement of the commercial
agriculture sector and agro-based industry towards making Kelantan State
as a major FOOD PRODUCTION.
